9 Amazon Jobs for Beginners: Earn Easy Cash

if you're reading this article right now, I'm guessing you're here for one of two reasons the first one is and the most obvious is you want to make some extra money online and the second one you want to find a way to supplement that Amazon spending.

Here, I'm going to share with you nine different ways for you to make money online with Amazon and all of these different ways to make money online with Amazon are completely beginner friendly so I am sure that there's something in here for everybody. So, make sure you stick around for the entire list number nine Amazon.

1. Mechanical Turk

If you are not familiar with Amazon Mechanical Turk or murk as they call it it is an online marketplace where businesses can go to connect with online workers or taskers to complete small tasks also known as HITS or human intelligence tasks now a typical task could be comparing one image to the next or it could be categorizing products but all of the tasks that you will be doing typically take a few seconds to a few minutes to complete now you're not going to get rich doing this but it is a great way to make a little extra money and you can do it online and you could do it on your own schedule typically the tasks pay a few cents to complete obviously as the tasks take longer up into a few minutes then the more that they will pay and if you have any specialized skills like:

Transcription

2. Amazon Customer Service

Working for Amazon customer service. Now, this of course is a remote job so you will be trading time for money for those of you that are looking for a little bit more job security this could be a great way to join the customer service role. Obviously

you'll be taking care of the basic customer service needs like returns and orders and in some cases you might even be working with drivers now in order to be eligible for a customer service position with Amazon you must have some basic qualifications like

Excellent communication skills
High school diploma
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows

Typically this job pays around $15 per hour but after 90 days of employment benefits do start.

Now one other thing I want to mention about this position is to make sure you look at the locations because they do not hire in certain states.

3. Amazon Online Shopping Stylist

I had no idea that this was a job but apparently it is and working as a stylist for Amazon you can make around $15 to $26 per hour the way this work is customers pay a monthly fee to be apart of what's called Amazon Prime wardrobe and you as a stylist would help them with fit and coloring and styling maybe helping them with seasonal Trends and current trends so essentially what you're doing as a stylist is reviewing their profile looking at the different selections they made and then based upon their budget and their style and their shape you would make recommendations and you can find these jobs under Amazon.

4. Affiliate Marketing with Amazon

Affiliate marketing in itself is fairly easy you work as the middle person for the company and then of course the person that is buying the product. You get a percentage of the sale signing up on Amazon is pretty straightforward, if you head over to Amazon Associates you put in some information once you're approved you. You will see a tab in the top left corner of your Amazon dashboard that says link and then you can take a link for any product that you want. When you send that link to somebody and they make a purchase guess what you get paid a percentage.

Example: On YouTube people have YouTube channels and they're talking about different products that they use. A perfect example is a YouTuber, talking about his microphone or the camera that he's using and then the link below in the description.

Typically you're going to be recommending physical products. With physical products the commission tends to be a little bit lower 1 to 5% maybe 10% the highest. Also you can be dealing with returns which means you're not going to get that money if somebody returns the product.

Suggestion: Recommend digital products. Why? Well,

Digital products cost a lot more
Commission is 40 to 60%
You can create your own digital product for free using tools like canva. It's really not that difficult to create a digital product you just need a problem to solve and you need an audience.

5. Amazon Influencer Program

This is similar to being an affiliate for Amazon. But the big difference is with the Amazon influencer program is that you are actually making video reviews of the products and then you upload those videos to Amazon. And if somebody watches the video and makes a purchase you get paid a percentage.

There are a few little hoops that you have to go through to be an Amazon influencer as they call it but really you're just a product reviewer sodon't let the word influencer fool you or keep you from signing up.

Recommendation: You must have an active Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok or YouTube account that you are posting on a regular schedule. And on that you have a decent amount of followers because they will ask you these questions.

What you will love about this is, it's passive income. You make the videos once, they live on Amazon forever and you are going to get money from that forever.

6. Narrating Audiobooks

if you've been told that you have a beautiful voice or a really deep voice then narrating audiobooks might be a great way for you to earn some extra money. Amazon has their own program called ACX. It's relatively easy to get up and running you need a decent microphone. You could literally set up a little recording booth in your closet or in your bedroom wherever. You have decent sound then you can start taking on jobs recording audio books. In the beginning, you as a complete beginner, you might make around $10 to $100 par finished hour. As you get better at this and you take on more jobs and you do more recordings more experienced narrators can make around $100 to $500 per audio recorded hour.

7. Amazon Handmade

Etsy Etsy started out as the place for people to sell their homemade goods. Now it's moved into more digital stuff. But they still have some handcraft stuff for sale as well well Amazon has something called Amazon handmade where you can sell your handmade products. So, if you're a creative type and you have an idea or maybe you're already doing something handmade that you would like to sell online then check out Amazon handmade. You do have to be approved but once you are approved Amazon will wave the $39.99 a month fee. And you're able to list your products and promote them online.

Suggestion: When you make a sale keep it in mind that Amazon will take 15% so this will work best with higher priced items.

8. Amazon Trade in Program

Amazon has an trade in program where you can trade in old computers and digital products. They'll obviously give you money in return. Go to the Amazon trade in program and start browsing. Look at the different products that that they're looking for and then if you have that particular product that you can trade in.

They'll give you a quote you'll agree to the terms and then the transaction will be made once the transaction or trade as they call it as process you'll see a trade in value in your Amazon account. So, it's going to come in the form of a gift card balance.

9. Merch by Amazon

Again for my creatives. If you're looking for a place to sell t-shirts and prints and accessories then consider looking at merch by Amazon. They do all the printing for you they do all the Fulfillment. They handle all the customer service so, it's a great way to get started making money online. Because:

There's very low risk involved maybe just a little bit of your time.

Suggestion: Keep in mind that the pay is a little bit less than if you had your own online storefront.

Example: if you were to sell a shirt for $16 you'd get paid what's called a royalty fee. Typically a royalty on $16 would be right around $2. So, if you do the math you're going to have to sell a lot of shirts and accessories each month, depending on what your financial goal is.
